Bird’s Eye View of the Economy

Sherle R. Schwenninger and Samuel Sherraden of the New America Foundation/Economic Growth Program have produced a lucid slideshow called “A Recovery at Risk,” that explains simply and directly where the economy is and where it is likely headed.

The piece is full of insights, but the main takeaway is that the U.S. economy is headed for trouble in the absence of additional fiscal stimulus – stimulus that does not appear to be forthcoming.
