Letter From Ten Senators To Senators Kerry, Graham, and Lieberman, calling for comprehensive clean energy legislation “that includes a plan to address the challenges affecting manufacturing.”

This link provides information about the Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit (48C), which authorizes the Department of Treasury to award $2.3 billion in tax credits for qualified investments in advanced energy projects, to support new, expanded, or re-equipped domestic manufacturing facilities.

S.1617 – Investments for Manufacturing Progress and Clean Technology Act of 2009
The legislation, included in the House energy bill, would create a revolving loan fund for small and medium size manufacturers to retool and expand facilities to produce clean energy technology and energy efficient products.
